  • Data Collected Automatically: When you use the Service, we gather Technical Data (IP address, browser type, OS), Usage Data (pages viewed, time spent), and Inferred Geolocation.
  • Data from Third Parties (Embedded Content): When you interact with content (e.g., videos, social media feeds) embedded on our Service, the third party collects that data directly from you.

Note on Public Content: Information you submit publicly (User Content and Public Profile Data) is intentionally designed for open sharing and is not considered protected Personal Data under this policy once published.

2. How We Use and Share Your Data

We use your data for: Service Provision (contract necessity), Account Management, Security & Enforcement (legal obligation), and Analytics, Profiling, & Ranking (legitimate interest, including DSA transparency).

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share data only with:

  • Service Providers & Analytics Partners: Vendors for hosting, storage, security, and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Third-Party Affiliate Partners: Data (e.g., click/tracking data via cookies) is shared with affiliate merchants to process commissions when you click an affiliate link on our Service.
  • Third-Party Embedded Content Providers: Data is shared when you directly interact with their content, governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Legal & Business Transfers: Disclosure when legally required or during business events like mergers.

3. Cookies, Retention, and International Transfer

  • Cookies: We use Necessary, Functionality, and Analytics/Tracking cookies. You can manage these via your browser, and we provide a consent mechanism for non-essential cookies in the EU/EEA/UK.
  • Data Security: We employ reasonable and appropriate security measures (such as encryption and secured networks) to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, you acknowledge that no transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and you are responsible for safeguarding your password.
  • Data Retention: We keep Personal Data only as long as necessary. Account Data is kept for the lifetime of your account. User Content is retained as long as it remains public. We reserve the right to retain Anonymized Data indefinitely.
  • Data Transfer: As a global service, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you explicitly consent to this transfer.

4. Your Data Protection Rights

You have specific rights depending on your jurisdiction:
